Oh, Mother!

My brief conversations with my mother over aspects of Mormonism just seem to get funnier as time passes. Today it was:

Me: "Mormons do believe in the second coming, too."
Mom: "Haha, ya, but of who? Not Jesus."
Me: "Um, yes, of course Jesus! Mormons believe in the Bible."

I really had no idea that my mom was that ignorant. I didn't realize her impressions of Mormonism were that skewed. Arg. Frustrating. But hey, it was also a nice source of twisted comic relief.
